Hit up salmon river in Pulaski or port OntarioGoing trout and salmon fishing tomorrow. I hope I get a salmon. Never caught one. Tough day though low and clear flows make them really spook easily.
Hemlock Lake, beautiful, no houses or cottages and probably looks like it did two hundred years ago. Though, the citiot's with their kayaks have discovered it.Beautiful day for it.
Which lake?
At least they keep it quiteHemlock Lake, beautiful, no houses or cottages and probably looks like it did two hundred years ago. Though, the citiot's with their kayaks have discovered it.

Oh, I have nothing against Kayaks, it's the citiot me, me, me, mentality that clogs up the boat launch and waterway around it, fiddlefarting around while fishermen try to enter and or exit.
My four-cycle motor is so quiet you can carry on a normal conversation while trolling down the lake, love it! That's why I go during the week days, the weekend is crazy.

Today we did the Niagara power authority fishing pier and olcott pier. Nothing, nada, zip. We saw no one catch a fish except one Asian guy. Asians always catch fish. You can usually see the fish off the power authority pier but none today. To warm and the front coming in much have chased them away.Hit up salmon river in Pulaski or port Ontario

A buddy and I went to Hemlock a couple of weeks ago. He was pulling bass left and right. You could hear the bastards jumping every 2-3 minutes. I was amazing.
We'll probably be out there again this weekend. In our kayaks. Clogging up the boat launch.
The same. We were in kayaks.
I've never fished from the shore there. We were less than 25ft offshore when he got the most bites, so I'd have to imagine it would be about the same. The weather has changed significantly in the last couple of weeks, so I don't know what they'll be doing now. I don't claim to be a fisherman; I just enjoy being out on the water.shore fishing any good?
I drop my shit at the boat launch, move my truck right away, gear up, and launch. When I land, I do the same in reverse and GTFO. I try to not bother anyone because, quite frankly, I don't want to have to deal with anyone else. I just want to enjoy being on the water and be left alone. I have experienced a few of the jackwagons you're referring to, and believe me, I dislike them as much as you.Bob, years ago fishermen were the only people you ever saw on the lake, and not many of them, outside of the occasional city of rochester employee that patrolled the lake and never bothered anyone, people actually left their boats at the launch at the north end, some padlocked them to trees but most were free to use and to my knowledge no one stole them. Enjoy the beautiful lake on your kayak, you are most likely courteous in using it, that is not typical of most of the self-absorbed citiot's that have found this spot,
That fat fuck is well over 200 lbs
