That's part of the misrepresentation of wording the Politicians and Media use: Personally (and I suspect many others) think of a lone gunman in a Building or other enclosed area when we hear the term "mass shooting" yet by definition there are mass shootings every weekend in Chicago where one gunman shoots two or more people... it's no less horrific, but not spun for the same attention and crisis actions.

Yup! Words matter and they know it.
They change the parameters to find their agenda and BOOM they are able to make headlines that make their followers soil themselves.
Remember, the headlines are not for you or me. They are not made for the masses or for critical thinkers. They are made for the minority of people that they know will swallow their sputum hook line and sinker.

After all, when is the last time you put on anything like a pink pussy hat, smeared your crotch with red paint, wore a vagina costume, and marched or laid down in front of traffic for a cause.
That is the base the headlines are made for. I blame the democrats and the press for propagating it all.

It is kind of like the Monkey Pox situation. They don't want to offend the gay community and will make it seem like we all must take action to defend against monkeypox, so they use words to convince their base that a Monkey Pox pandemic has arrived. Meanwhile, the gay community just keeps spreading it among themselves because their obsession overtakes the risk until it makes the jump. Then it is everybody's problem. And their base soils themselves.
