Flamethrower anyone?

It involves fire and can be held in your arms so I'm assuming correct section.
What's the legality of these. I'm pretty sure they're gtg anywhere correct? Other than california of course.
I'm thinking of building one as more of a proof of concept than than any practical use.

Think it could be. I have a few ideas of how i could make it work. Sourcing parts i could use may end up being the hardest part.

They're legal. Be careful if you make one because it's not hard to kill yourself if you screw up. Research all about the history before you try to make one too. The fire is only one way to die with a flame thrower.

Yeah don't worry i have a lotof respect for things that can go boom. A design i have in mind would involve no pressurized gases.

While not a hand held, I picked up one of these for Halloween last year. It works great. Uses $3 cans of starter fluid. You get 30 - 40 2 second bursts out of a can. It can be triggered by simply applying power or by DMX. I configured triggering through my phone.

We need to mount these like m203s. The Germans in ww2 had a small tube flamethrower for paratroop use that I think could be modified to work.
