There is actually a name for this type of killing/person. It's basically that the shooter feels that the family won't be able to handle him being gone so he takes them out as well. Good thing when you're gone you're gone and there is no worry of getting peace or burning for eternity lol. It sucks for the people left behind though.

I never understood why these people feel they have to take the rest of the family out as well. Clearly if they are thinking about suicide in the first place there is something wrong with their mental state. It's just unfortunate that can't just stick to shooting themselves.
