Reading the underlined portion of the Statute 790.222 is not comforting in any way. It is so vague that it could mean just about anything. Accessories that can accelerate the rate of fire of a semi automatic rifle without converting the semi automatic rifle into a machine gun:
Bump stocks
Crank fire devices
Binary triggers
3 gun triggers (Geissele and LaRue, among others, makes a wide variety)
Lightweight bolt carrier groups
Buffer springs and different buffer weights
Gas system length
Adjustable Gas blocks
TRANSFERABLE / REGISTERED Lightening Link (the host remains semi, the LL is the MG)
TRANSFERABLE / REGISTERED DIAS (the host remains semi, the RDIAS is the MG)
TRANSFERABLE / REGISTERED HK sears and trigger packs (the host remains semi, the sear or pack is the MG)
TRANSFERABLE / REGISTERED FNC sears (the host remains semi, the sear is the MG)

While the bill prohibits federal firearm licensees from selling firearms to anyone under the age of 21, notice the EXCEPTION which allows selling firearms to 18, 19, and 20 year-old law enforcement officers.
Strangely, I cannot find the section of the United States Constitution or the Florida constitution which creates “super citizens” who get special application of laws.

Florida Senate Approves Gun Control Package, OKs Arming Some School Personnel
The Florida state Senate passed a package of gun control measures designed to prevent another school shooting like last month's attack on Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla.
The proposals, which passed by a 20-18 vote, include raising age restrictions on the purchase of all firearms in the state, banning the purchase and possession of bump stocks, and setting a three-day waiting period to buy any gun, including rifles and shotguns.
The package also provides $400 million for mental health services, including mobile crisis teams and school safety programs, such as metal detectors, bulletproof glass and school resource officers.
The lawmakers rejected a statewide ban on assault weapons and limits on high-capacity magazines.
Perhaps the most controversial proposal is a measure to arm some teachers, despite the opposition of Gov. Rick Scott. The lawmakers passed an "opt-in" program as a last-minute amendment, according to the Miami Herald.
"Under the amendment, proposed by Sen. Rene Garcia, R-Miami, classroom teachers would not be armed if a school district decides to participate in the so-called 'school marshal' program established in response to the tragedy at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. However, other school personnel, including support staff who provide some instructional work, current or former servicemen or JROTC instructors, would be able to carry firearms."

Its headed to governors desk for signing, not very far at all considering hes already said they need this law.
Now, as for the age limit thing, this has to be age discrimination since 18 is the age of majority, i hope someone sues!

Doesn't really matter. The legal challenges have been winding around MD, NJ, NY, CA, CT for years in spite of "federal supremacy"
It will still be the law in Florida for many years to come. It won't get fast tracked to SCROTUS and even if it did by some stretch of logic and imagination, SCROTUS would deny cert.
