FNS-9 is a $30 rebate while 509, FNX-45 Tactical and Five-seveN are eligible for three magazines. Either standard or 10 rounders.
That sounds awesome and horrible at the same time that 3 mags are worth $180 .yikes

You can walk into any service center and have a pistol refurbished. As long as it’s the service center in Georgia seeing that’s the only one! I’m sure they are good. I have never needed them but many other manufacturers have the same warranty but you will have to send it in.Sorry not to derail this thread.... Is that really Glocks warranty policy where they are that good and easy at keeping customer guns repaired?

Who said this "They can if they have the prerequisites"? So it's not anyone. You were correct when you mentioned prerequisites. I actually just looked on the glock site ad saw this "To be eligible to take the Armorers Course you must be an active/retired law enforcement or military officer" A class is not really needed for most modern pistols. I have done the police trade in glock refurd with no formal training. A prior post made it sound like there are glock service centers all over the place. There is only one that you can walk into in the country. I'm not saying they don't have great customer service, I'm saying the walk in service is only at one place. How many other companies offer armorer classes to anyone so that you dont have to send it in. Yes you can get qualified as an armorer for other guns but again look around and tell me if you see an FN armorer class somewhere

I also just looked up taking the Sig armorer course. Anyone can take it. Sig for the win again!!!!!!!!
Also this:
– The FN 509™ Pistol Armorer certification is valid for a three-year period.
– To recertify students must attend the course again.
– Students receive a physical certificate with the FN seal and FN Instructor signature.
– Law Enforcement personnel may receive Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
Anyone can take that course also. FN better than Glock!
No comment on the competitors allowing anyone to take the course?Do you have trouble reading, cause to become a glock armorer you only need to be a member of GSSF
Are you actually comparing working on a German car with working on a pistol with about 30 parts? Apples meet oranges..Again how often do you see the classes being offered, and I'm sorry a anyone can work on a vehicle but I'd prefer to take a Mercedes to a Mercedes certified shop if there was something wrong with it.
That's how that works, instead of glock spending the money to open up services centers all over the country for no reason, they offer classes on the regular to people to become certified armerors and then that means instead of driving to or mailing my gun back to Georgia I can just go to my local glock certified armorer.
(Oh and glock dealers can also take the class)
I've seen 4 armeror classes offered in the surrounding areas in like the last 3 months, never once have I seen a sig class being offered.. soooo glock again for the win over anything sig as put out since they opened shop here in the US and became a subpar company
It was he on the couch.Careful will, you might end up on the couch again. Or was Ed on the couch after your spat?

Once they see all those holes in your gun, you wouldn't be subject to criminal possession of a weapon since they know it wouldn't be operable. So again when was the last FN or Sig class you have seen offered locally?
I prefer the couch, this way i can hear the oath breaking police getting ready to break down my door and demand my papers because I was printing
Oh shit. Shots fired! Or in Ed’s case shot fired then malfunction.Once they see all those holes in your gun, you wouldn't be subject to criminal possession of a weapon since they know it wouldn't be operable.
If you can’t get a seat get the manual onlibe. I printed it up years ago and am confident I can handle any Glock problem with the exception of Ed’s.I was just looking into taking one of glocks armorer course. Closes one is in Pulaski about 20-30 mins away.
Thanks. I’ll look into getting it. I figure it would be fun to do. Any idea what the test is like?If you can’t get a seat get the manual onlibe. I printed it up years ago and am confident I can handle any Glock problem with the exception of Ed’s.
Not sure about the test but it can’t be that tough. Glocks are simple and effective and don’t have many parts! If you can get a seat do it and let us know how it was! Thanks. I’ll look into getting it. I figure it would be fun to do. Any idea what the test is like?

I’d sign up now but I am trying to change career. If the class still have opening and me not finding a new job I will sign up when it gets closer. I think the class is in July. Not sure about the test but it can’t be that tough. Glocks are simple and effective and don’t have many parts! If you can get a seat do it and let us know how it was!
