SHOTGUN SKILL ORIENTATION
This class is designed to introduce the novice shooter to concepts and skills that they need to safely begin their training journey. With a morning discussion session covering critical topics on firearm function and ammunition that progresses into a dry fire then live fire afternoon. We will be working from a table, no slings are needed for this class. Please read the equipment list below.

A pump or semi-auto shotgun with an 18 to 20” barrel in 12 or 20 gauge

200 Bird/Target ammunition
5 rounds of buckshot

Clothing suitable for training in any weather, please note this class is outside. Please, no tank tops
Wraparound eyewear, polycarbonate lenses or non-shattering prescription glasses
Earmuffs/Ear Protection—electronic preferred.
Notebook and pen for note taking
Water, and snacks as needed
Recommend bringing lunch
Humble willing to learn attitude
