I read that he still has yet to stand trial in Monroe County for first-degree disseminating indecent material to minors, a felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.

I hope the Monroe County DA is paying attention (but not officially, because you know, we wouldn't wanted to sully the righteous sanctity of justice) - no plea bargain and he gets some real prison time added to his sentence.

Plea bargains are bullshit.

That's a completely valid point. It doesn't appear that she was given the choice.

Ironic, isn't it, that in a state run by those who feel an underage person should be given the choice to have sex, vote, etc., isn't given a choice about facing her attacker in court.

Almost makes me think they want to encourage young people being taken advantage of and not have the opportunity for justice.

You wonder why the sentence, but due to your failure to understand the likely circumstances situation, act like a cop giving a speeding ticket to a motorist, trying to get his wife to the hospital.............and issue a ticket and impound the car.
