There’s a clear choice when looking in this area, it is the Stoeger M3K which is cheaper new then most used tactical autop shotguns.

It is quality, proven design, and great tactical features. They have taken over the shotgun matches at LIPSA - more guys shoot these than the fancy Benellis etc.

Price is a just over $500. CampSite in Huntington has them in stock. There are also a few tweaks worth making, including extending the mag tube and aluminum shell stop/follower.

I love mine and can’t get enough of it.

If you must buy under $1k get an 1100 or 1187

All else is a waste of money and you will be buying again.

Followed the above advice and went with a Versamax over the Stoeger M3K. Couldn't be happier.
