Right.. and that would be because you have to pick a court that you want to file the suite in, and to be a plaintiff, you have to be a resident of the area that the court is in

They reached out to me by email about the best time to call me to screen me out. They also asked for my social media (this was before the Bruen decision). They must be looking for plaintiffs with zero skeletons in the closet.

With the recent SCOTUS decision, they'd better have a very good reason or someone has a good lawsuit now.

Plaintiffs would probably not need to be to go to court much if at all; they would normally appear by lawyers in a civil case. If it went to trial then they would need to appear to testify. Most of the time would be meeting with lawyers and appearing for depositions (which could be long, grueling interrogations, possibly over multiple days).
