This thing is awesome! I'm trimming about 15 cases a minute. Most are within 0.001 inch of my target, the rest are within 0.002 inch!

Can it be used with a hand drill or is stationery drill press required? What's a budget number for it?

Can be used in either. I have it in the drill press so I don't have to keep squeezing the trigger on the hand drill. They go for a little less than $70 on midway and amazon.
I did a 1/2 shoebox of .223 in an hour and twenty minutes!

My .45s hang up if I don't keep an eye on them. I throw the out of spec ones aside and trim when I get a stash. I'd actually like to know if they were in spec at the factory.I think it needs a shoulder to index off of.

My .444 Marlin brass stretches like crazy. Always trimming. load 5x then toss. Just waiting for a case head separation on those.
I have one, and use it in a hand drill. The OAL can be as consistent as you sizing is, since it indexes off the shoulder. I'm happy with it, as it was a pretty big improvement over the Possum Hollow trimmer I was using before. You don't have to fight the brass to keep it from spinning in the trimmer because of the bearing setup. Also, easier to set, and lock down for the trim length.
