Broome County to Rome is approx. 91 miles, according to Google Maps.
Using rough math estimates, it would burn roughly $20 worth of gas to make a round trip.

Spend $20 in gas for $800 worth of tires for free..... Make a nice day trip out of it, grab lunch out somewhere new......
Hell, I’d do it, but that’s just me.
