Free Speech Is Now a Crime​

Internal documents show FBI professionalism in tatters as it makes free speech a crime.
The FBI is bearing down. Instead of reflecting on revelations of systematic violations of Americans’ constitutional rights, the bureau is defending its actions. By treating free speech as a crime, the FBI is destroying itself.

Instead of inviting discussion of the recent “Twitter files” revelations, and engaging non-kept journalists and policy people in a real public discussion, the FBI has broken its silence and has gone into attack mode.

The bureau did not question the authenticity of any of the correspondence between former Twitter officials and the FBI. Instead, it defended the contents as illustrating normal, standard procedure.
That procedure, as described in the documents, includes warrantless collection of information against people agents indirectly acknowledged had committed no crime—but whose opinions and representations of facts, even if innocently inaccurate, could become grounds for criminal investigation and prosecution.

The Twitter files, which owner Elon Musk released in raw form to journalists and the public, show a breakdown of professionalism in the FBI so profound that the institution now considers free speech a crime.

WTF is there too discuss with the Fedcoats? The Federal government purposely entered into a vast CRIMINAL conspiracy to restrict and squash the Free Speech of many Americans (including the President of the United States at the time!) as guaranteed under our First Amendment.

Will a God-damned conversation about that resolve anything with regards to this tyranny? HELL NO!!!

It's pretty common for agencies that commit atrocities to try to excuse them by saying "they were following procedure".

What they don't seem to understand is that is *worse* than if it was some rogue operative violating procedure.

One bad apple here or there is unavoidable. You just fire or prosecute them and move on.

When the bad behavior is institutionalized in procedure, then it's the entire organization that needs to be eliminated or replaced.

I will reiterate my long held position on the FBI:

They should be defunded and disbanded. All employees should be fired. A new law should be passed that prohibits any ex employee from working in any law enforcement capacity, up to and including dog catcher.
