With all the video of NYC and others police department responses, I can't help but wonder if it was just simple an intel gathering operation. I saw NYC police all bunched up in groups wandering around and standing in place holding up walls.

Hmmm.... Must be Utica isn't a hotbed of terrorist activity sleeper cells. Been outside all day - a couple of firearms set discreetly inside of the door, but have yet to hear one single thing out of the ordinary. And here I was preparing for all out urban guerilla warfare. Terrorists like to keep people on edge. Seems they've been successful, at least to a degree. I spent much of the day doing yard stuff too... whilst keeping a little .380 lead spitter in my pocket. But then, even though I live in small town USA I've been keeping myself armed more often than usual for the past few weeks. I don't know exactly why, just happened that way.

I find this Newsweek headline kind of interesting. It refers to Dearborn Michigan as a "Muslim city". I wasn't aware there were Muslim cities here in the USA. Guess the US of A is becoming more diverse than what I had realized.
