Agents interviewed Kollie again, this time at his place of employment, on Thursday. During that interview, Kollie told agents he had done hard drugs, marijuana and LSD with Betts several times a week between 2014 and 2015, the affidavit says.

So, he did not legally obtain his firearm since he lied on his 4473. Stupid ass democrat shill.

Maybe not the best source, but today on NPR I heard them talking about this, and they said that he purchased the 100 round drum and the barreled upper for the shooter, and that he kept them at his house.

As far as I can tell, he technically didn't do anything illegal assuming the above statement is true.

According to the report, he was unaware that his friend was planning the event. The report made no mention of any drug use.

I wasn't there, so I can't say what the truth is. Only putting out there another view.


Now, as far as I'm concerned, the Feds need to sweat this guy until they know everything. If it turns out he performed a straw purchase, that makes him culpable and subject to M 1 charges, amongst others.

Aside from falsifying the 4473, did this guy actually engage in a straw purchase? The way I'm reading it, he purchased "parts" of a rifle that he then helped the killer assemble. If those parts include a lower receiver, then he executed a straw purchase.

I am very concerned (this reporting has been shoddy at best to incomplete and misleading at worst). If everything is correct that the friend is going to go to jail for buying "parts" that anyone can buy and no background check is needed, then we are officially in slippery slope territory.
