Front sight hood?

Looking for a little help. I just finished fixing up an older BSA sporter and I'm trying to find a hood which will fit the grooved front sight ramp. Hoods are only available for newer, more popular rifles and the dimensions are not published. The width of my base measures .350". Can someone with a Win. 70, Rem.700, etc. tell me if the width of their base is close to this? Thanks.

I did, and Ebay also. I just want to avoid buying six different hoods before I find one that fits.

It's a center-fire, and considerably older than the CF's. Converted from a Pattern 1914 Enfield to a BSA model "E" in 1952. The width of the base is key in getting a good fit.
