I remember see these years ago.

My father has one of those Blackhawks with the 9mm cylinder. It's an awesome gun. I just wish they were more rounded in the frame like their Vaquero.

They are a fun revolver, at one time I had a whole set of blued balckhawks in every caliber. I gave my oldest son the 44 magnum and my second some the 357/9mm. My oldest brother bought them in 1976 when he was stationed up in Alaska.
I sold the rest of the collection..

I did buy a stainless Ruger Single-seven in 327 federal magnum.
I have three other 327 federal magnum revolvers. That is a great caliber, I can shoot 32 shorts, 32 longs, 32. H&R Magnums and of coarse 327 federal magnum.

Collecting gets expensive.

Try double tapping with a revolver with a 12 pound trigger and loading it as quickly as a semi auto. No thank you. It's an antiquated delivery system for self defense with a low capacity and more recoil. That's why the .357 Magnum snub nose is a knuckle buster but a similar pressured round in a similar weight and velocity in a semi auto is manageable.
