While I found the video of obama getting arrested funny trump better be careful about this. First, if he actually believes an arrest is possible that video would be used by the defense in any trial. Second, I've read that arresting obama will definitely trigger riots so he may want to tone down the rhetoric.

Not sure that would happen and frankly with a single party system absolute power corrupts absolutely. I'm fine with two parties even if I disagree vehemently with one as long as they are both relatively sane - problem is they are not.

But.....

could this create an opportunity for Musk's new party to fill the void? I'm not sure that would ever happen with the current functional two party system, but if one is severely weakened? Wouldn't be first political party to die.

Would the tech boys back it to usher in an AI-driven technocracy? Is that where we are heading?

2 parties is basically baked in to the structure of our government.

The only way to end up with a single party system would be for the party to essentially replace the government the way it does in communist regimes.

If one of our parties dies, a new one will form to replace it within one or two election cycles. Either by a split of the other party, or formed from scratch.

Similarly, if we did get real a 3rd party, it would either die, or kill one of the existing parties within one or 2 election cycles.

Just the way the houses of congress are structured and the way the electoral college works, they basically guarantee one party in control and one in opposition and no room for anyone else at all times.

By talking about the "outrageousness" of the video they have to touch upon why the video was made. This forces the story into the liberal bubble that keeps democrats in line. Brilliant.

The civil threat for those that created the hoax by the people that were damaged by it suing them would be for loss of income, defamation, punitive damages and maybe violation of civil rights. It wouldn't be for anything "acquired".

BHO didn't acquire anything tangible that could be easily proven. He didn't outright steal tangible assets from these people but his actions did cost them a whole lot of damage.

Divorce absolutely can be used as a strategy to shelter at least some portion of mutual assets.
