Gander Mountain Cicero is closing ( Syracuse)

A guy I work with just drove by the Cicero Gander Mountain and they were in the process of putting up a " Going out of Business" sign.

I was under the impression that this store was not closing ( yet).. The Watertown & Utica stores have/will be gone.

as you'al know, I hate cumhole as much as the next guy, But Gander Mountain's GOB is the result of poor management on a National level. although the sale and property tax cumhole spanked these guy within New Yorkisatn didn't help matters any.

The new Yorkistan Dept of Labor probably wasn't any help either

Their prices were always high. Even their sale prices were high. You could get a deal there but that wasn't the norm. I used to go their a lot when they carried a lot of ammo because they would normally have what I was looking for. Now their ammo selection is slightly better than Walmart. I have been hitting up runnings in clay.

I was told they have to sell off all the stock from Gander Mountain before Camping World takes them over. The Cicero store is not "Closing" for good, just selling out everything and reopen with new branding. The only store slated to close in NY is New Hartford according to their website.

I will agree though, they are high priced and arrogant, I hardly ever buy there, I look and touch and try stuff on there and go home and order online.

My father heard a couple employee talking. They said the store might close but they were uncertain. This is the Cicero store

My buddy stopped at the new hartford one today and they said they were bought out and not closing.
Probably same as cicero?
