Ok so I looked it up...Xbr...1979 but it doesn’t tell me if it’s a 40x... help me out guys... I guess I’ll find out tomorrow...we cut the corn and the flying rats are all over the field

I beleive if it left Remington as a 40x it would be stamped as such on the receiver. At least the two I had were. Nice score. What caliber?

...fuck... oh well not complaining...crows at sunrise... 22-250 by the way. I have a 25-06 heavy varmint 700 but you get a sore shoulder when the crows settle in and we have a lot of crows around skaneateles

Maybe the last of the best Winchester put out…308…it will put sierras 155 Palma in almost the same hole…12 pound rifle

Years ago I found a 1960 Remington Nylon 66 at a garage sale with original box and papers which was barely fired....if ever.
I believe that was the first or second year they were made. The lady asked if $50 was too much to ask. I gladly gave her $50. I still have it along with a Nylon 66 from 1971, my birth year.

Back in I think the late 80's or early 90's my dad picked up 3 22's a Marlin 57m 22 magnum lever gun a Winchester 77 semi-auto and a 1930 Winchester 52 pre-A ( No idea what he paid for them ) I sold the Winchester 77 but still have the other two.
