But she asked for hikining boots (which she picked out and tried on.) And a start on a little bushcraft kit.


I picked out a Mora Kansbol and Bahco saw without her knowing. I actually own both myself (I own like 6 Mora knives, from the pathfinder to a lowly craftline). The only thing she asked is anything I choose is not pink or some other ridiculous color.

We've only been together for a few months, but I never thought I'd be giving a saw to a girlfriend.*


Anyway, so far I'm excited to gift a great knife as a gift. I love that stuff.

I shut up after that, seriously, after 30 years, I know when to STFU

Not bad, but I already took care of some camo stuff. I work in the offices of a major retailer on the distribution side. I can get this sort of thing for literal pennies on the dollar.

they were at the Auditorium Theater, Wednesday and Thursday night. It was only the three man troupe (actually 5, with a guitarist and drummer) It started out kinda slow, but they finished strong.

We saw the original group, there were something like 20 people in the group from Boston, a long time ago.

The Aud was only 2/3rds full. I was a little surprised the place wasn't full? But the did do a good job, we enjoyed it.
