I went to the range and shot it. 200 rounds of Fiocchi. I didn't take any pictures because I didn't shoot anything worth bragging about and I'm not nearly a good enough pistol shooter to claim any inaccuracies are the guns fault.
All in all it performed great, no failures of any sort.
As for generational differences I like the smooth trigger and lack of finger grooves. Some people worried about the new dlc coating being slippery, even with sweaty hands lighly coated in sunscreen I had no problem working the action. So people have also complained about the magwell cut outs, even when I deliberately griped the gun as hard as I could I didn't feel them cutting into my hand.
As for the sights, I don't like them compared to the gen 4. They are wider and sight alignment is easier but they feel more inaccurate to me. But that might also be due to my inexperience. And I planned on getting night sights from the beginning.
All said it performed as expected, and I know I need a great deal more ammo.
