Oh no. Now those guys that bought brand new Gen 5's have to get another one.
Is it a new model? Never heard of a 46
So, basically a bolt action, except the barrel rotates instead of the bolt.If it's similiar to the old world war guns I have watched on C&Rserel on youtube. The barrel is attached to the gun by an interrupted screw rather than a tilting lug. Turn the barrel and it detaches
Fanboy! Its an interesting idea I look forward to seeing how this all plays out.
Nope. That would be the Glock 7:It doesn't show up on your airport X-ray machines here and it costs more than what you make in a month!
It's the only brand I have now. I just actually got rid of my 1911 a few days ago.I wonder if I can drop it without it going off?
That rotation with the upper's groove and barrel's track would appear to be a point for failure if dirt got into the system. The tilting barrel design is a much larger movement that would appear more likely to tolerate foreign substances than the more confined rotating design. That said, I wouldn't mind seeing a comparison done side-by-side.It sounds like a similar barrel design to the Beretta Px4 Storm which has a rotating barrel. It's supposed to reduce recoil under the assumption that the barrel doesn't move upward when the slide moves rearward but instead rotates to go into and out of battery.
