It'll be an existing model 1/8" longer or shorter. Or possibly a change in the angle the stippling is cut at.

Imagine if Kalashnikov or Armalite patterns got a new model number every time they changed the barrel length or made some minor change in furniture. Their model numbers would have to be larger than most manufacturer's serial numbers.

I think they mean as in a compact, they gave the long slide (G40 aka equivalent to the G34/17L), full size (G20 equivalent to the G17) and then the subcompact (G29 equivalent to the G26) but are missing a G19 "size"
