Why does that sound like a democrat? Changing the geometry for the rear backplate means nothing if it can be digitally scanned and 3-D printed right?Holy shit bro, really? That sounds like democrat talk!
"we don`t know if it will work, but lets throw more gun laws at it anyway, because it looks like we`re doin sumptin".
See what i did there?
What does it matter to us gun owners what the backplate geometry is? I added as long as the new slide fits in the old guns because if someone needs a new slide for their gun then they can still buy one and use their old gun. No one is forcing them to buy a new slide and if they do I wouldn’t support that anyway. I’m not sure why that sounds like a democrat? I never said they should be forced to do it and it was a business decision by them. I don’t care if they do it or not and certainly don’t think they should be forced to do it. I also don’t think they should be sued for it either because they aren’t the ones breaking the law.
Flock chose to do this for two reasons IMO. They did it to avoid lawsuits and to be able to continue to sell guns in states thinking of banning them. The redesign was likely fairly cheap in the grand scheme of things and they likely thinking of this already for another reason.
well guess what the redesign failed and the new slide design has already been defeated.
Glock Fail! 'Unconvertible' V-Series Already Defeated!
In theory? PR win. In reality? The internet took one look at Glock’s redesigned backplate geometry and said, “Write that down. Write that down.”
IMO this means nothing and Glock should still be able to sell their guns in every single state in the USA without fear of any lawsuits. In fact if a lawsuit is brought forth because of this it should be dismissed immediately with prejudice so it cannot be brought forth again. How democraty does that sound?
