Are Glock Gen5's without the finger grooves causing less Glock Knuckle ?
I know about undercutting the trigger guard but I was wondering by
Glock removing the finger grooves does it help with this issue.

Glock removed the finger grooves (went back to the orginal design) because they are generally a love them or hate them thing and are not a universal "fit"

Add in the booming industry of removing finger grooves, its more or less one of the small instances of glock kinda listening to the consumer

Correct. I don't think glock would waste their time/money. With all the kits out there and now being able to even make your own glock I don't think they would tool up to make a carbine. Get a polymer 80 and one of the many uppers you can get for a glock and you have a carbine.

I live for those fingergrooves, and need to hunt down a Gen 3 whenever I buy one. It took me 3 months to find a good used Glock 20.

Not for me.
I undercut the trigger guard on my G19 G5. Makes it more comfortable for me.
I would definitely undercut the G48 that's in my safe, but somebody would get mad at me.

I have G17 Gen 5. No issues. Never heard of Glock Knuckle

Never heard of "glock knuckle" either.
Must be another thing that doesnt affect me......like the famous grip angle.

Glock Knuckle affects two different types of hands: those with thick fingers and those with long fingers. Both types of problem are a consequence of the low bore axis of the Glock pistols, the use of plastic as a frame and trigger guard material and how Glock have chosen to design round the consequences.

Here’s a little hack to turn a gen 4 into a 3. Throw out all the back straps. Problem solved. That’s what I did.

Oh also either file off the hump off the trigger bar or just put a gen 3 trigger bar in
