If you don't have it already; there are 2 epic things I did with my XD's. One is go to a company called Fire Dragon and get their match barrel for each XD. You will be shocked how tight the groups become with your XD. You suddenly become an IPSC champion. LOL. The other thing (but you need the Glock sight removal tool) is a product made in Israel called the Truglo TFO. They use both tritium and fiber optic; so day or night you get that exact same amazing sight picture.

Check out Trijicon HD sights on the 43 and 36 below. Great sight picture. The reflective orange front sight really jumps our at you. Plus, they're tritium night sights.

I changed only the front site to a Trijicon HD. I like the rear Glock site. Dropping the ball in the bucket is very easy for my eyes to see. With 3 dots, it feels like I have to do more and it makes me slower than I already am.

Phazer, how do you like the green vs the orange? Everything I read online says the green is easier to pick up but they were sold out so I got the orange.

I find that the orange front sight just grabs my eye and makes rapid target acquisition possible. I've found green fiber optic sights to be more muted.
If I'd known about the Trijicon HD sights, and I'd been able to get them, for the 42 I'd have used them instead of the Truglo TFO.

there is a Glock match this week end in Jackson NY , great way to get some trigger time in . I will be competing this week end with the 42 thats a 380 ,Again good luck its a simple effective firearm if left stock . Buy all means its probably the worse feeling trigger , but they allways run

Use them on my competition guns. Black rear sight. thin Notch with a thin front blade fiber optic in front works well for my outdoor use.
I dont like them indoors on black silhouette targets.
The TFX series are outstanding sight for a carry gun. In the day light you would think they are lit up with batteries. I just dont know the difference between the regular and the Pro series. Anybody local to me (Rockland County) I have a great tool for pushing sights on a glock and would be happy to help you install your sights
