I started a fixed mag build, and am weighing my options for fixing the mag as we speak. I like the RED factor of that Cross Armory piece you posted. It seems like it’s a good way to shout to to any nosy folks that “YES, I’m abiding by the ‘laws!’”
Should you move out to a freer state, is it something you could undo without damaging/altering the lower?

The Prince 50 is easily reversible. Just remove the set screw. It is a normal mag release button drilled and tapped with a set screw threaded in it. It will prevent the mag from releasing even if the halves are separated. Three turns of the screw will allow you to release the mag.

Why? What action would you be afraid of? Just don’t like being around others? If anyone asked me I’d let them know not to worry about what I’m doing. If it was a PO I would tell him it’s a 10 rounder and carry on with what I was doing. I don’t see the issue to worry over?

I know what you are saying, it’s nobody’s business. The range I go to has lots of POs, and old school shooters. So I am bound to be asked I’m thinking.
A PO probably isn’t going to care and will assume it’s not something you’re not supposed to have if you have it out in public for all to see. Anyone else either ignore them or tell them not to worry about you.
How many people here have come across a cop with a pistol in plain view? Several. Pretty much never do they ask for a permit. They assume you’re in the clear because you’re not trying to hide from them.
Hard to shoot em concealed in the field but you must know more than me.

I use a Timber Creek Outdoors extended magazine release on mine.
It comes with a replacement release button that is tapped for the retaining screws that I drilled all the way through and threaded. Then I used long set screws like the Prince 50 and Bullet Guy mag locks use.I installed the extended button on top. Chicks dig it.
