So yesterday was pretty crappy.

We had elections across the country and, with the exception of the Mississippi Governor's race, most of the Republican candidates and initiatives on the ballot got blown out by Democrats.

In DEEP RED Kentucky, the Trump-backed lost to the Incumbent Governor who was despised during COVID but rebounded based on his pro-abortion stance during the election.

In Virginia, the Democrats kept control of the Senate and flipped the house because voters in Virginia were afraid of the 15-week abortion ban that the Governor is working toward.

In Ohio, voters decided to keep abortion AND legalize marijuana at the same time. Coincidence? No way, dude! Now you can get stoned, get pregnant, have an abortion, and then go get stoned again to numb the pain. It makes perfect sense to me.

I don't know when Abortion surpassed baseball as America's National Pastime, but it doesn't bode well for Republicans and their marketing efforts.

This election proves a couple of disturbing things:

1. Americans LOVE killing babies
2. Democrats are still better at winning elections
3. Republicans are not at all ready for 2024

With the economy sinking, the border wide open, crime surging, antisemitism running rampant, wars all over the place, and the Democrats erasing our rights one after the other, it's disturbing that Abortion is still the hot-button issue that is driving people to the polls.

If the right wants to win the fight, we need better messaging AND better candidates.

We have exactly one year to figure out how to open up America's eyes and show them that "baby killin'" ain't the biggest threat to your existence. (Well, unless you're a baby.)

We need people on the ground who can connect with younger voters and get them to embrace the American ideal of personal responsibility. We need leaders in the Republican party who can organize an operation that will get people out to vote and let them know who they should be voting for.

So watching and listening to news reports this morning

it look like, yet again, the main issue for the Republicans doing so badly is ABORTION

This I am guessing is not going to go away from a Republican perspective and the Dems will again play heavily on this

We have a massive issue for 2024 on this issue alone

How did the proposition to allow school districts to raise school taxes up to 50% more in one year pass....currently it was restricted to 2-5% max hike..............now we are done done done........... school tax hikes will be unlimited...........
