Yet another story about a LAW ABIDING concealed carry citizen saving the day. Don't bother looking for it on MSMS. This guy potentially saved lives, at least 4 that we know of now, and probably many more.

I saw this on the top of CNN's website, surprisingly enough.
However one part of their article has me concerned.
"As the gunman was fleeing the scene, a bystander armed with a pistol confronted the shooter and fatally shot him outside the restaurant,"
Understand, I don't know the CCW laws in Oklahoma, but here in New York that bystander would be facing murder charges for that.
I hope it goes well for the bystander. We need MORE people willing to step up and protect others.
And we need more news reports of them doing so!

Really? You were there? Did the fleeing assailant have the weapon in his hand as he was running, did he brandish it or point it at the person? At best, maybe by a stretch, manslaughter, but murder, not a chance. He would be sued by the assailants family though for sure in civil court... That is a necessary change to civil law, that a person acting in the commission of a crime, cannot recover damages as a result of a person's defense against said crime.
Anyways... One for the good guys for sure!
