TL;DR - Biden is most likely in the last part of stage 6 of dementia, there are 7 stages, then death.
A member of my wife's family suffered from vascular dementia. My wife and her sister shared the caretaker role for that family member at her home until the very end. I was in a direct support role so I have seen the awful effects of dementia firsthand.
It was a horrendously awful experience to go through for everybody involved but we all decided that the family member wasn't going to live the last part of her life in a nursing home or hospice. So in the last four years of her dementia, we as a team cared for her 24/7 in her own home.
What I'm getting at is I've been through it. For that family member, it was 7 years from the onset of dementia to the time she died. There are 7 stages of vascular dementia, it was during the 6th stage of dementia that she started to have difficulty speaking (mumbled words.) In the 7th and last stage, she had difficulty walking and the incontinence happened. The last 5-6 months that she was alive she had great difficulty with keeping her balance so she could no longer stand up and walk.
But thank God she never forgot who we were. We feel blessed for that as that would have made things even emotionally harder on us than it already was.
What I and other families have been through watching a loved one going through a slow-motion death is the worst. I would not wish that on anyone. But I will admit that I can not muster any empathy or sympathy for a family such as the Bidens.
You all don't need me to tell you that Joe Biden is not making any decisions and is not in control of anything, and hasn't been for a while, if ever as the President. But like I said, I have personally been through being a caretaker for a person with dementia. So I can pretty much confirm that at this point Biden isn't doing anything but existing day to day trying to make sense of even the simplest of things.
It was 3 maybe 4 years (3rd or 4th stage) into our family member's dementia that she was unable to handle the process of paying her bills, reading the time on a clock, remembering to feed her cats, and stuff like that. Joe Biden is well beyond that point, I can see it for what it is.
I wouldn't doubt that at this point Biden thinks the trash goes into the refrigerator.

I'm sorry to hear that. Thankfully we got lucky and the person I was talking about never got aggressive as many with dementia do. My biggest fear was that she would eventually forget who we were. Thankfully that never happened, it's a hard enough thing to go through as it is.

Been there-done that and it's no fun whatsoever....Mom lasted 4-1/2 years in a skilled Nursing facility that we wrote a $13,500 check to each month...so much for the $15K Estate Planning/Trust for the five year look back.I'm sorry to hear that. As I have mentioned before we decided to keep our family member out of any facilities and care for her at her home. The financial part of it was a concern but the biggest thing was that the person would want us to do what we did by keeping her in her house. Plus the covid thing was unknowingly coming in the near future. So we are glad that we were mostly able to avoid all of the restrictions that were put in place by the healthcare facilities.
She somehow fractured her hip and spent one month in a nursing home while the hip healed.
During that time in the nursing home, we noticed that her regression was faster than we had previously noticed. So I got her back to her home 2 weeks before she was scheduled to go back home and then her regression leveled off.
She did better under our care IMO. Not because we did better at it or provided better care, I just think her being around her loved ones all day and night instead of shift workers helped. Because she was at her own home she didn't get "visits" at certain times for a certain amount of time. My wife or her sister was always in the house with her 24/7. Plus other family members and some friends would stop by and spend some time with her.
In the beginning, a doctor recommended that we don't do home care because of the stresses placed on the caretaker can be overwhelming and create health issues for them themselves. But my wife and her sister teamed up and with some help on my part we did an awesome job of being caretakers. There were times when the doctor said from what he can tell we were doing a good job.
My wife was the primary caretaker and the stresses involved and the just plain sadness of it all unfortunately did take a toll on my wife though. Going into it she was lively and had a zest for life. Now, after the fact, she is kind of flat. She has lost interest in some things that she used to enjoy. When I have asked her she says that she has no regrets and would do it all over again.
My apologies, I didn't mean to slide this into a dementia and me thread.

I figure the Dems are praying that Trump gets convicted or deemed ineligible, but they are not praying for his death. That will likely be "the hill", the "mark in the sand", and things will get very ugly very fast.
I agree. Leave him in and force the democrats to deal with their own problem. There's no way the media can spin it that biden isn't fucked in the head. If they remove him in the next couple months the left will have time to plan out who to put on the ballot in November. If he stays in office he's only going to get worse but the dems will be forced to deal with him and his blundering two months before the election and they can't hide his incompetence. The only strategy that could work for them is to remove Harris as his running mate and put in their next choice as president hoping the idiotic public will vote for biden.
