It's good for once to see the Governor messing around and finding out that there are people who not only openly disrespect her for her lack of effort, but in a situation like this where she needs to share the blame that there are armed po po all around who are not on her side, that her NYSP body guards are very outgunned and outnumbered and beating a retreat is her only option. Of course the intent here is to try to bankrupt or at least tie up anybody in the gun industry. The other aspect is to scare manufacturers like this from even producing such things like magazine locks. If no one produces magazine locks then that would create a de facto band for all AR-15s in New york.
