There’s more in the works that would allow them to get state jobs easier. I found it was released so here you are. Many titles in NYS require a person to take a civil service examination and pass it in order to be considered for employment and you had to be pretty high on the list. Well they have now said many titles no longer require the exam to be considered for hiring.

These progressive politicians are he'll bend on driving it (State) and YOU, it's residents, to the bottom... Race to the bottom!

Enabling or Empowering the criminal migrant horde is ridiculously reprehensible and repugnant! Not sure how the Legislature would even entertain such notions and any Executive Action attempted by the apparent Oligarch be rebuffed by them! But alas... It IS NY we are talking about!

So, the State can circumvent Federal Labor Law?
It IS a Felony to hire persons here illegally, has been for decades, and if this stands, do we still have to apply and pay huge fees to have the same crew from Jamaca come every year to pick Apples and Prune Trees? Hell, it seems to me they could board a Boat, sail over, and not only stay past their allotted time, but get paid by the gubberment for doing so! BTW: The State says that this year the migrant workers (here legally on work visa's) will have to be paid $17. and hour plus overtime...dead production cost for a Bin of Apples is just over $150.
Once again, people that produce nothing, demand and exercise control over those that actually do produce. SMFH.

Yes the H2A program is very costly for farmers. So t forget the farm has to also take care of these workers and essentially pay for everything other than their food. They need to house them as well. It’s crazy.

The civil service exam is being waved for certain positions. If a US/NYS citizen were to apply for the same position as an illegal fence jumper would the relaxed standard be the same? I would think not!

H2A does not apply here as these are NOT non-immigrant foreign workers. Unless they want to blatantly over look their true legal status (ie - they don't have one).

They already relax the regulations about flying on domestic flights for illegals - no ID required .

I think he brought up the H2A program as a why would people do it the right way if they can hire illegals cheaper since the federal minimum wage standard for migrant workers is higher than local help and there are many other costs associated with H2A.

NYC is giving out 1000 gift cards to them for food and stuff ..

they get free housing too in $500 per day hotel rooms ..

Rest assured that domestic help is now available for NYC upper class apts......

Puerto Ricans here are US citizens and will be hit hard by the illegals taking their jobs......
Who travels thousands of miles on foot?.............not the educated or skilled ones, except of course assassins and crooks.
