I've been saying it on this forum for a while now. People in other states need to wake up. If the federal government doesn't crack down on rogue governors and state officials that think they can violate the bill of rights, then it paves the way for tyrants to crop up in their state.
The problem is, and has always been, the judiciary branch of government. It doesn't matter what the other branches do, if it comes down to nine kings sitting on a bench who can not only override any proposed law, but get to "make up" bullshit about what laws are on the books (ie, "interpret" the bill of rights).
We should be always taking the most far reaching approach when it comes to looking at the bill of rights, and interpreting each amendment as widely as possible. If it's not clear enough, we need to call a constitutional convention and revise it for clarity to limit the scope. That's how the legislature should function -- and if it did, all of this 1A, 2A, and 4A crap going on would be thrown right out the window.

As ive said before, the liberal politicians arent dumb.
They are taking over big cities nationwide and voting liberal politicians in.
They cannot win by numbers but by taking over big cities they can turn the numbers in their favor by giving incentives and making it easy to vote.
Boise Idaho and Bute Montana are filling up with latinos and middle easterns.
Soon every state will be like NY and California.....huge red state with small pockets of blue.
Millions of uninformed voters collecting welfare and voting Blue.
Just like the founders intended.

It will keep moving out to new states. Those here who move to PA or NC or Kentucky...it will all become national. With SCOTUS unwilling to take up gun cases, next democratic president will almost certainly go for a national ban on "large capacity" assault weapons. Then you're down to 10 rounds across the board, for example.
Personally I do not ever anticipate being able to buy a 30 round magazine in New York ever again. I see higher odds that they just move toward additional bans; no AR Pattern rifles and/or no detachable mag centerfire at all, etc. This can all be done nationally, and quickly.

SCOTUS and 2A friendly politicians are scared of the violent Leftists, sadly the days of the 2nd Amendment are quickly coming to an end. This is been planned for the last 100 years. starting with the Sullivan act, 1934 NFA, 1968 bill, 1986 and 1994 modern sporting rifle ban, unSAFE...etc. Typical Communist/Progressive doctrine. I feel our society is way to dependent on government, electricity grid, gasoline, food....we are sheeple and at the whim of our government.
