Less than four years after declaring California’s budget was balanced for the foreseeable future, Gov. Jerry Brown on Tuesday said the state is now projected to run a $1.6-billion deficit by next summer.

Paying for all those illegals and the tons of people who are probably on welfare is killing the budget. Add to that the people leaving and the shrinking tax base. Hell, sort of sounds like NY.

Businesses and productive people are fleeing California in droves to more business friendly states. They are being replaced by mooching illegals and welfare seekers looking for the top notch free services California provides. Do the math. It doesnt work. California will predictably react by raising more taxes, making life more difficult for business and the result will be speeding up the process.

Now we just have to convince the liberals who are fleeing California that their stupid policies are the root cause and to leave them in California and stop destroying their new state. (see colorado, quickly being over run and turned into East california)

No Fed bailouts of bankrupt states! States should have to suffer the impact of their leaders poor decisions. Raise the taxes on the dwindling taxpayer base (or cut the social programs they're so proud of) to cover it and see if they continue to elect these progressive leaders.
