This country desperately needs an Admendment that holds Government accountable. On both Federal and Local Level.

For instance:

When the Government forces Business to STOP their business, ALL TAXES, FEES, LICENSES, must suspend as well.

It is grossly unfair that when the Government makes business impossible, it still expects the Taxes and Fees to continue.

Want to see this COVID-19 BULLS**T end ? End Government revenue.

Perhaps suspend the salaries of every Government Official who makes the declaration as well.

It would end the abuse instantly.

Ok, seriously. this isn't a big deal as the emperor has literally put most small businesses out of business. There will be nothing to collect, no fees will be paid, no permits issued, income tax will be non-existent, payroll tax is gone, sales tax is almost non-existent. where does the Angel of Death think all this money is going to come from? The wealthy are leaving in droves. many of us Middle and lower class are getting our shit together and we'll be gone soon.

Lets start with the Emperors pay, there is $250,000 per year ( Im not counting the tens of millions in kick-backs he must be receiving) every legislature and everyone in the health dept and any other brown nose ass sucker should have their pay suspended as well

The solution (may) be simple. Just make politicians have a legal, fiduciary responsibility to their constituents. They don't currently, afaik. Meaning they can invest your tax dollars as badly as they want with no legal consequences, even if it's obvious mismanagement of funds.

I know you’re just joking but honestly if they did my plan they would work hard to attract new businesses because their pay and raises would be directly tied to how my salary and benefits are. They get what I get remember.

Honestly I think the way things should've been done, is the feds should've been doing their job and enforcing the constitution on anything state level. That way LEO have it very clear that if they obey unconstitutional state mandates, the feds will be their problem. It would also put pressure on politicians as well.

It would make anything remotely unconstitutional essentially unenforceable. No LEO would be willing to do so. Any politician that passes such laws would be tried and convicted.

But, alas, the feds are spineless in protecting the bill of rights, and other states don't care either.

Yes especially in my neighborhood. My house is assessed at $172,000 from $120,000 and the guy across the street from me who has a bigger house and just as nice went from $84,000 to $81,000. I have a bigger garage and a bit more land but come on.

That stinks for sure. My neighbor has a ton more land and a huge garage and he is not that much higher than mine. It is so arbitrary!

Yeah I ended up paying an extra $165/month for a year to cover my escrow shortage. Now they gave me back $100(yeah I know it’s my $$ anyway) so my tax increase for one year was $65/month for the same exact service I received before. I essentially get the park grass cut and my trash picked up. I do have to say they will pick anything up from me every week.
I also had a special assessment for my school taxes that was like $20-$39/month to build a new building that they haven’t started on yet. Then my school taxes went up again this year. I told them I’ll vote for your special assessment but I’ll never vote yes on another tax increase again because this is being proposed to save money. I guess other idiots voted yes to increase the school taxes. If they can’t save money during corona virus they never will be able to.

Arbitrary maybe, maybe not he works for the city and I don’t. He’s a beloved firefighter, you know the people in my city who get paid to sleep and workout. We have a few fires per year of that. They do medical calls but we have an ambulance service for that. I brought it up during my appeal and the guy actually had the balls to tell me I can’t compare because I don’t know what the inside of his house looks like. My response was as a matter of fact you don’t either because you’re not allowed inside and I walk out my front porch every day and it looks pretty damn nice to me. They dropped my assessment $13,000. My assessment was projected to up more than any other home in my city and I pulled zero permits for work. Mine was going up like $28,000 more than the next closest home to mine in the city.
