Well, maybe it is a political hit job. Obviously, if these are all false accusations then that is wrong. As much as I want to see Cuomo go down and as much as I think he doesn't deserve to be in power. Maybe this is all a cover for the nursing home thing. "Since taking office in 2011, Gov. Cuomo has doled out more than $10 billion in public funding and tax breaks in the name of economic development — costly giveaways that have resulted in a series of broken promises and boondoggles."
- The Central New York Film Hub outside Syracuse, which cost $15 million to build but was sold last month for just $1 — despite Cuomo boasting in 2014, “Who would have ever figured: Hollywood comes to Onondaga, right?”
- A $90 million factory that taxpayers built for the Soraa LED lighting company, which walked away from the deal with no penalty late last year. The state then committed up to $15 million more so NexGen Power Systems, a semiconductor company, would retrofit and lease the plant, also outside Syracuse.
- Cuomo’s Buffalo Billion revitalization plan, centered around a state-funded $750 million solar-panel plant that currently employs fewer than 700 workers — a far cry from the 3,000-plus predicted by the governor.
Kills 16,000 people with a policy based on his own stupidity, then lies about it.

These “emergency powers” should have never been open ended. There should have been sunset clauses periodically and the legislature should have been actively voting to re-instate.

These "emergency powers" should never have happened. If the ledgislature didn't feel they were capable of doing their jobs, they should have resigned instead of abdicating their responsibilities.

Can we get this vote done quickly with Cuomo's favorite 'message of necessity'? This is clearly more important than renaming the Tappen Zee after his father, and Cuomo used the 'message of necessity' option for that. If not, we'll have to wait until next year for it to get passed.
