I'd like to see the facts, data points, or source where they came up with this:

"Since the implementation of this new law to protect New Yorkers from gun violence or any other form of harm, shootings are down approximately 26 percent across the state in the last year."

I'm sure the arrests are coming. Not actually criminals but those caught up in the public/private space of NY CCW restrictions. Especially Westchester residences who have been denied CCW for decades and now think that they can carry a firearm to the grocery store. lol

Watch.......its coming. " NY new gun law working" the headline.

The Town of Liberty has only had one shooting where a man got shot and survived this summer, though there were 4 drive by shootings where no one was hit. But we had 6 stabbings, so there is that. That's a town with a census of about 5000 people. A friend who is a member of the Sullivan County Legislature said they all met with Hochul about a month ago and as soon as bail reform was mentioned she stormed out of the meeting, saying "I don't have time for this shit". Her concern for the people of NYS is alarming.

The scary thing is - she did all this cluster-fucking in 1 year! She knows now she can just about throw any gun shit she comes up with against the wall to see if it will stick. NYS ignores the Supreme Court. There is no pushback from anyone or any organization ( Hey F-OFF NRA! ).
She has wet dreams of NYS being the first state where it is illegal to own handguns and other weapons of mass destruction. Someone pointed out and I agree that NYS is the test bed for ultimately complete gun control aka Australia etc.
