This right here is the problem. They willingly violate the constitution and people's rights because they know there is no recourse, no punishment, for doing so. An appropriate punishment for willful rights violation should be life without parole, or death. Hold them all accountable for their actions.

One of two outcomes:
1) since there are no microstamping-equipped firearms this is a defacto ban on purchasing any semi-auto pistol. The S.C. has already ruled they cannot outright ban a whole class of firearms. The 2nd Amendment says "shall not be infringed". This law is unConstitutional at many levels and thus is irrelevant.
2) since there are no microstamping-equipped firearms this law cannot be enforced, like the ammo registration law, and people can go about their business with the typical infringements we've become accustomed to.
Either way, it looks like this legislature is as impotent as ever.
