Wabbits & woodchucks are also destructive to property. People bitch about them as much if not more than the deer. Are those critters next?

Then there are the destructive and life threatening 2 legged critters in/around Syracuse. Sometimes referred to as hood-rats, those critters actually kill folks. No plans to cull them critters though.

3 years ago I trapped and relocated 26 woodchucks from my property in Eastwood/Cuse.

Supposedly, their qualification is 3 consecutive shots at 100 yards with a 1" group.

1 MOA qualification if true is not a terrible shot and certainly not happening with out of the box gear.

I can do that with my Mosin with iron sights ..

hell my cheap savage .223 bolt gun and a cheap scope .. at 100

That's not what I meant. It doesn't matter who authorized this or if the cops know. How pissed would you be if someone started shooting 250' from your house in the middle of the night? Even during the day if they start popping them in someone's neighborhood it's going to cause an issue. I understand that the deer need to go. Maybe these guys will stay away from houses and it won't be an issue.

I’d be pleased beyond belief. The studies shows this works and the people in the neighborhoods are thrilled to get rid of the deer. Also shows it’s great for the ecology and then meadows and other native plants thrive that’s good for other wildlife. Peoples gardens and bushes do not get consumed and the neighborhoods are safer. I wrote a paper on hunting and used many of these points to back up why it is good. Ohio did this and it was hugely successful at pleasing citizens and reducing car accidents greatly. I fully support this.

My parents told me over in Oneida Co, that they watch the police blotter in the evening and at least 3-6 MVA Deers are reported.

Not good.

You can thank Horechul for destroying people's cars, putting kids lives at risk, etc due to her stupid CCIA ammo background bullshit.

So this fat doe is in my backyard here in Syracuse as I type. All the backyard hunting is doing is to scatter the critters to other peoples backyards.
