That's for those who registered their C&R magazines under unSAFE. Now they know where they are and they'll confiscate them.Wait a minute...
My pre-ban magazines were still kosher???
I gotta get to the lake!!!

100 %What are the odds everything in this bill being passed? Micro-stamping? I can’t believe this shit!

Perfect example of registration leads to confiscation. Don't register anything. I had stuff that I couldn't take out of the house after 2013 but it all went to a safe place. And the not C&R mags.. NY had prior to the safe act a grandfather clause that magazines made before 1994 was legal in NY.
Those 1994 and older mags were allowed to be registered with the initial registration period of the Safe Act

Don’t worry Jacobs won’t be re-elected.Not a fan of Jacobs, we have history.

It looks like the goal is to vote all this stuff in by Thursday.
NYS legislature to vote on gun legislation
Forgive my ignorance, but what does this micro stamping ammo bulls#%t actually mean? Is it that literally every piece of ammo has a numbered "stamp" on it? What does that even mean, at least the "nuts and bolts" of it? Does that mean that we would need to "register" our stamped ammo, or need a permit for each ammo sale?
Ok, so if this law goes into affect, what happens? Say i go into a shop and buy 200 rounds of .223, and each of those rounds is microstamped, now what? If i go on my outdoor range on my land, and then shoot every one of those micro stamped rounds, what happens, lol?
Is it that there would now be a "paper trail" of all the ammo we buy, and in turn they can limit how much we buy, or ask why you are shooting that many rounds, or something? Again, i am really asking these questions, not being sarcastic, at least not that much, but i am honestly wondering what this means.
Someone else will explain it I'm going to bed

i think it a process to micro mark stuff that has not been invented yet .. so you can't buy it till its invented ..
The stamp is on the firing pin. No gun manufacturer makes them. It’s essentially a way to ban new gun sales. Well professor, that little piece of shit trailing out the ass end of our state, along with the other metropolitan shitholes, is what prevents us from having a chance of electing our way out of this.....and the shitbags running this state know it.Yes, exactly, we will be seeing them in court.
As usual.
We need to elect real representatives, it’s far cheaper and less time consuming than court battles.
More like their red flag laws failed in Buffalo along with the safe act. They have egg on their faces so they are trying to prevent it from happening. This governor worked very hard to assure people she was taking gun violence seriously. They have the red flag laws and safe act in place to “prevent” this and it failed. It’s all about saving face. The way I see it is that they were pissed off about the coming scotus ruling. So they figured they would shit on our parade. They’ve been planning this for a while. Buffalo was the catalyst they needed.
This. They are studying the feasibility of it I heard. Also Hochul doesn’t even know the law and said we need permits and licenses to purchase semi automatic rifles??The stamp is on the firing pin. No gun manufacturer makes them. It’s essentially a way to ban new gun sales. Google it.
It’s contingent on the NY DCJS to certify viability. They most definitely will. Thus banning any new gun sales where manufacturers won’t comply.This. They are studying the feasibility of it I heard. I'll let you know in a week or two.So, if you were a criminal, would these laws bother you?

Just like NYC.I think she's talking about their idea of making citizens need a license to own a semi auto rifle and you can't have said license until you are 21. Essentially it will be like the license to own a pistol.
That is what they are proposing.
Correct but on Twitter she expressly said that we want to increase the age to 21 to own and license for semi auto rifles. This sure made it seem like a license for a semi auto rifle is already occurring. I know it is in NYC, but not outside of it.I think she's talking about their idea of making citizens need a license to own a semi auto rifle and you can't have said license until you are 21.
