The Goya Foods boycott is an insult to Hispanics, America’s largest minority group. Politicians and pundits — some Hispanic, many others painfully woke-white — are calling for a boycott of the largest Hispanic food manufacturer and distributor in the nation, a company that employs more than 4,000 people.
The Bodega and Small Business Association, which represents thousands of New York City bodegas, is not taking this lying down. We are urging our stores and customers to stock up on all of Goya’s great products.
We are calling for a Goya boycott.
Did any of these boycotters stop to think about the impact their actions would have on the more than 13,000 bodegas in the Big Apple — and on hundreds of thousands more stores all over the country that sell Goya products, a staple of the Hispanic dining table? Did they stop to think about the thousands of black and Latino workers Goya employs?
The boycotters say that Unanue crossed the line with his words, because Trump has disparaged Hispanic immigrants. Even if they are right, however, their own actions would, if successful, do greater harm to Hispanics than any of Trump’s words.
I’m a Hispanic immigrant, and here is one thing I know. The Unanue family, immigrants from Spain, are role models for every single immigrant to this country — a family whose achievements attest to the promise of America as a land of opportunity. Goya is a job generator, while most of its detractors haven’t done a thing to create a single job for the Hispanic community.
In fact, one of the loudest detractors of the company rose to fame when she canceled 25,000 Amazon jobs for the community she represents — a politician who grew up in relative affluence in Westchester and went by the name Sandy until it was politically convenient to be known as Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Now she wants to cancel Goya.

Ivanka Trump wants you to know that getting a new job is very easy. For instance, earlier this week, Ivanka Trump was a senior adviser to the president, a job theoretically restricted from endorsing products or services. But yesterday she got a new job, as a spokeswoman for Goya beans!
Ivanka posted on Instagram a picture of her in front of a beige wall and a different-beige curtain, holding a slightly blurry can of black beans, captioning it: “If it’s Goya, it has to be good. Si es Goya, tiene que ser bueno.”
Wow! Congrats to Ivanka, but even more, congratulations to Goya! Goya had better cancel its entire ad budget for the year; this single photograph of Ivanka has convinced me. I too want a can of these beans! I look forward to planting them in my garden, or placing them on my mantelpiece, or taking them into beige rooms as my accessory of choice, or whatever it turns out their purpose is, which I have less idea of now than before I saw the post!

I've honestly never even considered that there were alternatives to Goya out there. But then again I'm Puerto Rican and that stuff has always just been there. Be warned though. Anyone out there wanting to try Goya's products especially Adobo. You will be spoiled. There's no turning back after that. Everything else will taste like flavorless cardboard after using Adobo. I don't know where Frank's Redhot got their idea for being able to put it on everything but it has nothing on Adobo. You can put that shit on everything.

My new PR Neighbor is the nicest neighbor I've ever had.

Much nicer than the White Ones. Who are ok, but not stellar.

However - my Black Neighbor; who has never caused even the slightest trouble - is just not friendly at all.

I wave to him - no response.

He DID have a black live-in girlfriend. Top Notch gorgeous and as friendly as can be to everyone in my family.

One day she dumped him.

We miss her every day.
