Hello!
My name is Paul, and I was born in New York, and live in Poland. My hobby are firearms, it's my whole life, however, I have Asperger Syndrome, so I don't think that I'll ever get a firearms permit, in Poland or the USA pr anywere. I did however see and hold a few real guns, since I live near a military base, and I even was there a few times since my mom has a lot of coligues the are/ wore soldiers that served there. I make model guns out of rubber, I also make them out of paper and cardboard, but once I found out that rubber works, I quited that. sometimes I use real firearm parts that can be bought without a license, you know, pistole grips, stocks magazines etc, parts that don't have anything to do with the function and firing. I joined because I thought that maybe I could get help from here when I'll be making my models, since most of you have real guns, you could send me pictures, mesurments, give some advices etc. I don't know will anyone care, but I thought I'd try anyways
Here's my rubber RDA Handgun from the movie 'Avatar':
Now as you can see, my models are pretty crude, because I cut out lairs out of sheets of rubber and I stack them out on tom of each other, and then carve the shape of it. Now, I'm working and a Type 14 Nambu, which has moving parts. I use crude tools to make them, hence the look, because I don't have money for professional tooling, and besides I have a eye-vision problem, with the nerve connecting the eye to the brain sending the picture slower the usual, and I would be afraid of using tools of this type anyways.
I hope I'm not gonna be rejected by you, since this is a firearms owners forum, and I'm not a firearm pwner... but I'll take the risk anyways
