I got a pile of gun stuff from the family of a friend who died a few weeks ago. There were a couple of odd ball magazines in there. Any help identifying them is appreciated.
I'll have to think a bit more on the others, but immediately I can say the .22lr mag on the left in pic #3 is almost certainly for a Stevens/Savage Mod. 34/35
Edit: Oops, I said 'on the right' initially. I meant the one on the left
Hex is correct, sort-of. It also fits a Springfield. I will have to dig to the very back of a safe to pull out the rifle and get a model number. Savage made that rifle and sold it both under the Savage banner as well as the Springfield name.
If you don't have a rifle that fits it, I'll buy it from you.
I didn't realize that Hex was answering all the questions. I'm referring to the .222 Remington magazine. It fits both the Savage 340 and the Springfield model 84C.
Ok, I think I've got another one... but, it seems to me maybe someone added that big screw at the bottom of the 22lr mag in pic #5 , beacuse I'm pretty sure it's this.
Pretty sure I've got the last one. 22lr on the right in pic #3. It is most likely an old style Mossberg 42 (which has been roughed up and is missing it's own screw thingy and the 'teeth' are chewed up)
