According to the press conference today it seems as if they are going after "other" firearms. Hochul stated it herself saying they were going after AOWs but I'm pretty sure she is talking about others based on how she described what they are going to regulate.

The Town and Village Courts just got new guidance on the updated "bail reform" that they just passed in the new budget amendment. It's been touted as given judges more "discretion" on how to set bail. I looked it over. The only difference I see is that we now have more leeway to charge bail if a crime includes criminal use of a firearm.
So as usual, a whole lot of nothing from the talking head politicians.

A possibility as I've wrote before, the SCOTUS has no teeth. NY, especially the AG will ignore it (SC) but follow NY Laws enacted, even if they are in violation of the Constitution. It's what they do...
