Gun laws, Rochester NY - 5 round magazine limit?

So shit, I'm not even supposed to have possession of any magazine that holds more than 5 rounds. That sucks. So I'm still technically breaking the law for only having 5 rounds in my 10 round mags in this case. I looked up 5 round mags and they cost the same as the 10 round mags, can't even get them at half the price! lol

You can get -5 floorplates for 10 round PMAGs cheap. These are typically for hunting and suffice for complying with both the ECL for hunting and Rochester city code. Or you could improve something similar.

Honestly this is ridiculous and it's Rochester city code we are talking about here.

Thanks! I found some floorplates for my mags for $3 a piece, which is nice and cheap. It is ridiculous, but I'd rather not risk it and lose my gun rights.

I suggested neighboring counties, and you had to jump in and tout your hometown as not subject to “Rochester’s BS laws.” Well guess what, Churchville’s law enforcement is Monroe County Sheriff and NYSP, pistol permits go through Monroe county sheriff and judges, and Churchville’s own “BS laws” includes a code book that forbids discharge of so much as a pellet gun on your own property as well as an extensive zoning code. So stick that in your pope and smack it.
