I won one once, well actually my wife bought the ticket and I traded it off for a wood stove for the cabin. It was a 10-22 and didn't need another 22 but did need a stove. Good deal for all.

Actually 3... When I first moved to NY I won a gun raffle at a local bar.
I was new around here then and some shenanigans took place and one of the loud mouth bully type regulars ended up with the gun... I found this out around two years after the fact.
The gun was a 870 Wingmaster.

Two years in a row this guy I used to work with sat next to me at the local Friends of the NRA dinner and won guns. Two years in a row!
To be fair, I’ve had plenty “walk right into my arms” in other ways so I can’t complain, but damn... two years in a row? Come on!!

i have won only one in my life time .. my dad on the other hand wins one or 2 or 3 every year .. ..
few yrs ago at the local gun club had a gun raffle .. someone picks the ticket out of the drum .. winner is .. XXXX then the ticket goes back into the mixing drum .. and the winner picks the next ticket .. he picks him self .. WTF ..

I love them. I probably buy at least 50 tickets per year. Maybe making these events against the law will finally wake up the residents of this fucked State.

yep seen it too .. was at local firedept Turkey/Ham Raffle .. tables set up with baskets of wine .. buy a ticket for what basket you want to try and win ..
