.700 Nitro Express
I've never understood why people would get rid of firearms when they are moving. They aren't bulky or hard to move.I recently picked up 15 guns for $1500 from a family friend who was moving, and needed to liquidate his collection. 2 Rem 700, 1 Win 70, one Win "94, early 40's vintage, 2 Marlin 336, Mosin 91-38, Yugo SKS, are the most notable. Couple of .22, and a couple muzzle loaders mixed in. All in great physical shape, except they had been in a house fire. No heat damage, but the acid in the smoke had washed off most of the bluing. I refinished them all, and they look great now.
They will cart a $500 couch across the country but sell a $1500 rifle so they don't have to move it ?
