The National Rifle Association (NRA) and the Second Amendment Foundation (NRA) on Thursday filed a lawsuit challenging the legality of Washington State's recently passed initiative 1639. Various individuals and gun dealers also joined in on the suit.

Well, it could be argued if they win this lawsuit, they would have helped us. I think if they don't we could be looking at a similar law here.

That's been my arguement here. I was trained how to use that style of weapon effectively now I'm unable to defend my family with a similar one. It really is as arrogant as humanly possibe.

This is similar to the argument I heard going around when they raised the age to drink from 18 to 21. "Young men can sign up to fight in a war and drink overseas, but cannot drink legally here at home".

I just scanned I 1639 and did not see any reference exempting current or former military as being exempt.

I don't really care what happens to the Emperor. Unless they cut our taxes by 50%, Im out of here. I am done paying for the lazy no good welfare rats and all the "refugees" that will be coming to this Sanctuary state. Mid-America is the place to be.

I worded that a little wrong. I'm out either way. IDGAF ....... If cumo was to loose his throne. I'd stay for an additional year or so to tie up loose ends and prepare for a more planned move.
