Well that's nice. It's only concerning federal officers though. Wish it had a provision that also prohibited the states from all that as well.

And virtually all law-enforcement agencies in the country receive at least a little bit of federal funding, whether it's for community policing initiatives, equipment (vests, radios, etc) or personnel.

Wife left him yesterday, took his kids and disappeared. Called the cops, claimed, ex special forces, PTSD, drunk husband has lots of guns. 6 cops showed up at his house. They didnt take his guns yet but that restraining order is coming next.
So unless he committed a crime which he has not then they cant take his guns. Get fucked.
Told him to get them out of state.

Obviously not a guarantee, but right about now, I'm sure LEO like @GOPerfect and @Airborneguy are far more concerned about trash people rioting than they are average citizens holding up in their homes protecting themselves.

If anything, having good people be armed is probably what they'll need if things get beyond what they can handle.

Every single order that my job has issued so far has been directly related to health and welfare for us and the citizens.

It seems like Cuomo wants the Feds/National Guard to deal with that aspect, while we continue to focus on addressing public order and the disorder that will likely arise if this continues indefinitely.

Believe this or not, the only concern in my department is the service of people. They are pushing for us to stay sickness free. They are only concerned about assisting the people within the community.

We have officers assigned to do nothing but pick and deliver food. medicine and other essential items to those that are either directly affected by the virus or have no way of receiving what they need.

None of what is in this article is a concern of any of us.
